Sierra Club Endorses Garen Yegparian for Burbank City Council
In honor of Garen Yegparian's long commitment to the Environment and Burbank's Quality of Life, the Sierra Club is hosting an easy hike in Burbank's beautiful Verdugo Mountains on Saturday, 1/31, at 4 p.m.

Garen himself will guide the hikers through some beautiful scenery, while leading a conversation about livability, accountability, and involvement, and answering questions residents may have about his plans for the future of our community. All this while enjoying champagne on the trails!

LOCATION: We will meet at the Stough Canyon Nature Center at the end of Walnut Street in Burbank. Click for a Map

COMFORT: For maximum enjoyment of our outing, please wear sturdy and comfortable hiking shoes or boots. Bring some water and a jacket.

DIRECTIONS
From Burbank:
The nature center is located at the end of Walnut in Burbank. Walnut starts from a "T" at Glenoaks Blvd. next to Burbank High School. If driving from Burbank, take Glenoaks to Walnut. Take Walnut toward the Verdugos (you can only go one way) and drive 'til you can go no farther. You will have arrived.

From Freeways:
From I-5, North or South, take Burbank Blvd. Eastbound to the end. Turn
Left onto 3rd Street. Take your first
Right onto Delaware Rd. Take your first
Right onto Glenoaks Blvd. Take your first
Left onto Walnut Street. Drive to its end.

PARKING: Please park below the gate where the road widens to allow easy turnarounds. As a landmark, use the DeBell Golf Course's new clubhouse, on the right hand side. You will be parking about a quarter mile beyond it.
